Itinerary Overview

Theme: Connecting with Incan Culture and TraditionsBegin your adventure with breathtaking views of the Andes and an introduction to Incan heritage. Trek through serene trails, arriving at the first campsite under starlit skies.

Theme: Unloading Personal Burdens
Challenge yourself as you ascend to Dead Woman’s Pass, the highest point of the trail. Experience a profound tradition of releasing unwanted burdens, setting a meaningful tone for the journey ahead.

Arrive at the awe-inspiring Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and gaze upon Machu Picchu in all its glory. After exploring this Wonder of the World, unwind at a luxury hotel with a celebration dinner and toast to your achievement.

Conclude your trek with a guided tour of Machu Picchu and a climb to Huayna Picchu, reserved for select adventurers. Travel back to Cusco with memories to last a lifetime.

  • Briefing and orientation at 5:00pm the night before the trek at our office in Cusco.

  • Transfer from the train station to hotel in Cusco.

  • International flights to Cusco, Peru.
  • Sleeping Bag. You can bring your own or buy one when you arrive at our office in Cusco for the orientation.
  • Extra Porter if your luggage is more than 12 pounds.
  • Rubber-tipped walking poles.
  • Visit to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes while you’re awaiting the return train to Cusco, only 10 minutes from the village center, entrance is s/10.00 (Peruvian Soles).
