Welcome to Inca Trek! We’re not just another tour operator; we’re a U.S.-owned and operated company with a deep-rooted passion for responsible travel and the wonders of Peru. Our journey began in 2010 when our CEO, Jared, first experienced the magic of the Inca Trail. That first trip inspired him to build a company dedicated to providing unforgettable and seamless adventures to Machu Picchu, all while protecting the environment and supporting local communities.
Since 2011, we have spent over a decade meticulously building our itineraries to offer authentic, high-quality experiences in the Cusco area. We are proud to be one of the few U.S.-owned companies approved to operate on the Inca Trail, a testament to our commitment to excellence and our understanding of this incredible destination.

Our mission is to lead the way in responsible tourism in Peru. We believe that an incredible adventure shouldn’t come at the expense of local culture or the environment.
- Preserving Peruvian Culture: We exclusively hire and train local Peruvian staff, from our expert guides to our porters and cooks. This not only ensures you get an authentic experience but also directly supports the local economy.
- Supporting Local Communities: Our general manager, Javier, is from Cusco, and he helps us ensure our operations have a positive impact. We’re proud to be an active part of the community we operate in.
- Protecting the Environment: We’ve eliminated all single-use plastics from our tours and donate 1% of our revenue to environmental initiatives. We’re dedicated to preserving the stunning landscapes of the Andes for generations to come.
