The Steps we’ve already taken.

To Future Guests:

We've spent a decade building the perfect itineraries to experience the Cusco area and operate on the Inca Trail.

The Incas crafted thousands of kilometers of roads that connected their kingdom. Many of those roads led to Machu Picchu. The most famous of all is the Inca Trail. It is our hope that while we spend time on that road together that we will all leave as better human beings. More connected to each other and more connected to the planet.

It’s important to note that operating hiking tours on the Inca Trail is an exclusive right granted to only a few companies in the world. The application process takes years, and requires an in-depth knowledge of the environment, the culture and the preservation of the trail itself.

  • Inca Trek is the only U.S. based company with this license to operate hikes on the trail.

  • Our reservations office is in the U.S. and you will be communicating with our U.S. team for both planning and payment arrangements.

  • Locally, we are Peruvian owned and operated to conform with all government standards and practices within the country.

  • We employ over 50 people locally, for logistics and trek support.

  • We have an exclusive contract with Huilloc village which provides indigenous porters and trek support.

At Inca Trek our mission is to provide each guest the trip-of-a-lifetime. Peru is a country that offers something to everyone. Adventure. Spirituality. Food. History. Culture. Peru has it all.

Let's get in touch and get something on your calendar. We look forward to guiding you through the process and the many steps ahead!
